Last week Emily and I found out that WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!! We were very surprised! Actually, I didn’t believe her when she told me. She had taken a pregnancy test that came back positive, but I couldn’t believe that it was accurate… I read the instructions and looked for an explanation of why it showed positive – eventually, I saw the expiration date on the package was a month past due, so that explained the reason… But, just to be safe we bought a new EPT and she took in the next morning – yep, positive again. Apparently those things mean you really are pregnant if it says you are!

We told our parents right away, but we aren’t going to tell anyone else until we have our first doctor’s visit, towards the end of July. Our parents are very excited! (We are too!)

I really can’t belive it – it’s just hard to believe. We weren’t try to get pregnant, but now we are, and the more it sinks in the more excited I get.

On Friday I borrowed a book from the library called Great Expectations. It is a great book and will be fun to see what our baby looks like each week.
