Today we took Kari out for her birthday. We went to P.F. Chang’s, and Sydney got to drink water using a straw. When she was done drinking, she kept the straw and lifted it up with her mouth. We started cracking up at her, and she got so proud of herself. She thought she was sooo funny!

Wow – I can’t believe Sydney is 10 months old already! She got another tooth in, learned to crawl up the stairs, and can pull herself up on furniture to a standing position. She likes to pull herself up to her toy piano, start playing it, and then dance with the music.

She also got to go “sledding”.

It is amazing to look back each month and see all the new things Sydney learned or the new things she did.

This past month, Sydney got her first (and second) tooth. We didn’t even realize she was teething – all of a sudden we noticed a tooth! Another tooth came in soon after.

She also learned how to clap, crawl, and say “momma”!
