Since Sydney spends all day with mommy, I try to put her to bed most nights so that she doesn’t get to attached to mommy always putting her bed. She usually fusses about me taking her to her room at first, but gives in and goes to bed without a fuss.
The past few nights she has started whispering to me right before I put her in her crib. She isn’t whispering any words (that I can tell), but she puts her little hand on my neck and whispers to me. It’s one of the best feelings in the world!

How do you write about a sound or a noise? I don't know exactly how to describe it, but I'll give it a shot.
Sydney makes a wheezing, whisper-noise with her voice whenever she's in the bathroom (she must like the acoustics there). It's like she is saying Ahhhh, but whispering it – it kind of whistles too. It's so hard to describe – but it is so cute when she does it. She can be playing loudly and then she'll be totally quiet and make that noise. She has the slightest hint of a smile too. It's just so random when she decides to make the noise that I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to get it on tape or on video. Once we bring the video camera in she gets very distracted.
It's such cute noise, whenever Emily or I are thinking about Sydney, we try our best to make the noise and it always cracks us up. Only Sydney can make that noise, and it's funny how it's becoming such a special memory of her.
